The only one suffering from this failed policy is the citizen of the Republic of Armenia: Grigor Balasanyan
Armenian-Russian relations are clearly in a very deep crisis today. All those statements made in Armenia several months ago claiming that relations between the two sides had never been better are simply an exaggeration. This is what Grigor Balasanyan, an international affairs expert, said live on Alpha News.
“First of all, we need to discuss why this situation came about. Today Russia is saying it will not accept agricultural products from Armenia. A legitimate question arises here: why have no steps been taken all this time to find alternative markets?” the expert noted.
Speaking about labor migrants working in Russia and Armenians employed in the agricultural sector, he emphasized that Russia provides employment to 1 million Armenian citizens annually.
“We cannot expect this from the EU. It is not part of the Europeans’ plans. Europe itself has labor migrants, and the EU is facing serious problems related to emigrants. The only one suffering from this failed policy of the current authorities is the citizen of the Republic of Armenia,” Balasanyan added.
