“The only way to protect the Church is to take part in the elections”: Robert Amsterdam

When Nikol Pashinyan speaks about war or attacks the Catholicos, it is very similar to what Trump did in relation to the Pope. Robert Amsterdam, the international lawyer, representing Samvel Karapetyan, Strong Armenia party leader, made the statement at a press conference.

“When such events occur, the only way for Armenians to protect the people and the Armenian Apostolic Church is to go to the elections and vote,” Amsterdam noted.

The lawyer also stressed that the upcoming parliamentary elections are existential for Armenia and the Armenian people.
