The US and Iran have agreed, as part of a preliminary deal, to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days, according to the Washington Post, citing an unnamed diplomat.
“Following the signing of the memorandum of understanding, Iran will immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz and take steps to ensure that traffic returns to pre-war conditions within 30 days,” the publication writes.
