“This man shamelessly holds a parade; what is he proud of, his minister of defense?”: Samvel Karapetyan

Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, commented on the military parade in Yerevan held to mark the Day of the First Republic of Armenia.

“This man shamelessly holds a parade, what is he showing off? That he brought three wars and three defeats upon our country? What is he proud of, his minister of defense? They put a few pieces of weaponry on display, but in the event of war they will hand all of it over to Aliyev, and then come and say that the people fled. We saw who fled from Artsakh, they did not support the people of Artsakh for a single day. The people lived for nine months under pressure, under blockade. They, the RA authorities, did not bat an eye. And the people of Artsakh would have held on even longer had they received support from our country, which was supposed to be their guarantor,” Karapetyan noted.
