Three members of the Yerevan office of Strong Armenia have been arrested, Marianna Kagramanyan, the party’s spokesperson, told Sputnik Armenia.

Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Committee reported the detention of five citizens after searches at the office of the Strong Armenia party in Yerevan. They were accused of “receiving a bribe” and “violating the ban on charity.”

According to Khrumyan, the government’s harassment of representatives and supporters of their team began several weeks ago.

“This shows that they are afraid and understand that change is inevitable,” she said, emphasizing that the ruling force is trying to exert pressure on Strong Armenia through law enforcement agencies.

The spokesperson also stated that no out-of-context audio recordings or criminal cases can stop Strong Armenia from achieving its goals. “I would like to emphasize that in all the audio recordings, people are talking about their salaries. They are trying to get their legal salaries as material incentives,” she explained.
