To export fish and fish products to EU countries, Armenian companies must register in the European control system TRACES.

According to a draft decision of the Armenian government, an economic entity wishing to enter the EU market must first apply to the Food Safety Inspection Body. The inspection body will verify that the product meets EU food safety requirements and will then submit the company’s data for registration in the TRACES system.
