Trilateral talks to be held in Abu Dhabi in November: Peskov

The talks planned for Abu Dhabi in November are scheduled in a trilateral format between Russia, the United States and Ukraine, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian presidential press secretary, told journalists. However, nothing can be ruled out in advance, including the involvement of the Europeans, he noted.

It was previously reported that the talks would address security guarantees for Russia and Ukraine after peace is reached. Given this, the European security architecture may also be on the agenda.

“Nothing can be ruled out in advance. But the talks we are talking about, which are scheduled for the first half of November in Abu Dhabi, will be in a trilateral format,” Peskov said when asked whether the Kremlin ruled out the possibility of the talks becoming four-way, with Europe taking part.
