Trump says ‘war is over’ and Hamas will comply with disarmament clause

US President Donald Trump arrived in Israel on Monday and stated in the country’s parliament that the Hamas movement will fulfill the disarmament provision outlined in the peace plan, Reuters reports.

“This is my great honour – a great and beautiful day. A new beginning,” Trump wrote in the guest book.

According to him, the conflict in the Gaza Strip has ended: “The war is over.”
