Two contract soldiers injured in mine blast in Vardenis

Two contract servicemen were injured in a mine blast in Vardenis, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported.

“They sustained injuries under circumstances unrelated to the performance of their official duties and while off duty. Their lives are not in danger. The relevant authorities are conducting an investigation to clarify the remaining circumstances,” the ministry’s statement reads.
