UNSC to Convene Emergency Session on the Situation in Nagorno-Karabakh

The UN Security Council (UNSC) will convene the emergency session on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh on Wednesday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.

The session will be held in response to the Armenian statement regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh blockade imposed by Azerbaijan, which left 120,000 civilians on the brink of starvation and humanitarian crisis.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan will leave for New York to participate in the emergency session of the UNSC that will take place on August 16.
