US and Iran agreed to extend 60-day truce: media

The United States and Iran have reached an agreement to extend the 60-day ceasefire regime. This was reported by the Saudi television channel Al Arabiya, citing sources, according to TASS.

“Information has come in about an agreement to extend the 60-day truce between Iran and the US,” the channel’s sources said.

They also noted that the term stipulated by the memorandum of understanding signed by the US and Iran last June expires today.
