Vogue Arabia’s June issue features an article on 20-year-old Lebanese-Armenian model Serena Sefian, who has become one of the major breakout talents of the season after opening the Fendi autumn–winter 2026/27 show during Milan Fashion Week.

For the young model, this show marked one of the most significant achievements of her career and a confirmation of her new standing in the global fashion industry.

Sefian was born into an Armenian family and grew up in Beirut. She has already taken part in projects with a number of international fashion houses and beauty brands. According to industry publications, Sefian opened the Fendi show as an exclusive model for the brand, one of the most prestigious formats of collaboration in the industry.

In an interview following the show, Serena admitted that the invitation to open the show came as a surprise to her. She said the moment holds special significance not only for her personally, but also for the representation of the Armenian community on the international fashion stage.
