“We are optimistic about the further implementation of TRIPP”: Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on behalf of the United States, congratulated the people of Armenia on Independence Day.

“The United States shares in Armenia’s joy on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the restoration of independence, and we note the progress your country has made toward a more peaceful, prosperous, and democratic future.

The historic steps taken by the United States and Armenia over the past year show what can be achieved by joining forces for the sake of peace and prosperity. We are optimistic about the further implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative, the strengthening of economic ties, the attraction of American investment, and the creation of new opportunities for Armenia and the entire region,” Rubio emphasized, expressing hope for the further deepening of the partnership between Armenia and the United States.
