“We can’t talk about preliminary investigation secrecy, since the recording was made public on June 5”: Aram Vardevanyan
The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia (CEC) is reviewing the question of stripping immunity from David Kazinyan, a representative of the Strong Armenia party. Speaking with journalists outside the CEC building, Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party and a lawyer, said the details of the case are currently inaccessible to the public, but that the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia, given its unconventional approach to its work, had already disclosed their content.
“So we can’t talk about the preliminary investigation being under a secrecy regime, since the recording was made public on June 5, and Kazinyan has always stayed in touch and maintained contact with journalists,” Vardevanyan said
