‘We continue to believe that peace is possible’: US State Department

When it comes to the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the United States continues to believe that peace is possible, State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said in a press briefing on Monday.

“It’s something that the Secretary [Antony Blinken – ed.] and others continue to remain deeply engaged on,” he said.

Patel added that he does not have any updates on the negotiations between the parties, but the United States will continue to support this process.
