Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, touched on the topic of the Diaspora during a government session, stating that the country will no longer “need second-hand.”

“It seems to us that for Armenia, the Diaspora is a means of influence in a specific country, but the reverse is also true, and we have recently seen for ourselves that at times the Diaspora becomes a means of influence within this country.

We don’t need second-hand goods, we need to close this page. But that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate that back when we needed second-hand items, including clothing, the Diaspora provided us with them,” Pashinyan said.
