“We saved 2 liters of gasoline to get to the maternity hospital”: Artsakh resident gave birth to twins

On August 20, a resident of Artsakh Maria Musaelyan gave birth to twins Nare and Nane in the Stepanakert maternity hospital. According to Maria, the babies were born by Caesarean section.

As reported, there is a catastrophic fuel shortage in Artsakh right now, but the Musaelyan family saved 2 liters of gasoline for the day of childbirth to be able to get to the hospital.

“I’m still in the hospital. I don’t even know how I will get home, because there is no fuel, and many pregnant women go home on foot,” Maria said.
