‘We will continue to try to bring the parties together’: James O’Brien on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations

US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’Brien commented on Armenian-Azerbaijani relations when asked how much recent clashes complicate the path for potential diplomacy.

“I think the tensions now just point to the importance of more diplomacy, but I don’t want to speculate on any particular recent action, so we’ll just continue the path of trying to bring the parties together,” he said.
