“We will receive the winner’s mandate and form a government:” Samvel Karapetyan

Samvel Karapetyan, the Strong Armenia party’s candidate for prime minister, told reporters at a press conference that his party is heading toward an outright victory.

“I am relying not only on opinion polls. I am also relying on Nikol Pashinyan’s absolutely low approval rating,” he said. According to Karapetyan, the party is contesting the election through legal means, without allowing any unlawful conduct.

When asked by a 168. am journalist whether they would accept their mandates and work with Pashinyan in the event of an electoral defeat, Karapetyan was emphatic: “We will receive the winner’s mandate and form a government.”
