“Why are the words Homeland, nation, and people excluded from the text of the oath?”: Narek Karapetyan to minister

Narek Karapetyan, head of the Strong Armenia faction, addressed Srbuhi Galyan, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, in the National Assembly, asking whether the words and concepts “Homeland,” “people,” and “nation” appear in the new text of the government member’s oath.

According to the minister, there is a concept of the “Republic of Armenia,” which encompasses the Homeland, the nation, and the people.

“We must act in accordance with the principles of durability, independence, sovereignty, and development of this Republic,” Galyan said.
