Steve Witkoff, US President’s special envoy and Jared Kushner, the American leader’s son-in-law, brought to Kyiv worse terms for a peace agreement than those previously offered to Ukraine. This was stated by Anna Skorokhod, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, TASS reports.

“It wasn’t a breakthrough, quite the opposite, they came with even worse terms than we had before. <…> They brought worse conditions: whereas changes to the constitution and recognition of territories were not required before, now they are. There are also a number of nuances I don’t want to disclose, since the information was obtained under the table,” she said in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Dikiy.
