Wrestler Vigen Nazaryan defeats Azerbaijani rival at U23 European Championship

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Vigen Nazaryan (87 kg) secured a decisive 7-0 victory against Azerbaijan’s Joju Samadov in the first round of the U23 European Championship in Tirana, Albania, and advanced to the tournament’s quarterfinals.

Nazaryan is set to face France’s Vladimeri Karchaidze in the quarterfinals.
