Zaven Andriasyan wins the 2026 Chicago Summer Open tournament in the USA

Armenian chess player and grandmaster Zaven Andriasyan has won the Chicago Summer Open 2026 tournament in the United States, the Chess Federation of Armenia announced.

The chess player led both in the classical chess competition and in the blitz tournament.

In the classical tournament, Andriasyan scored 4.5 points out of a possible 5, and in the blitz he won all eight games.
