Zeroing out taxes for small business solves a social problem: Hayk Farmanyan

The plan to zero out taxes for small business was one of the key points of our election platform. This was stated in parliament by Hayk Farmanyan, candidate from the Strong Armenia faction for chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

According to him, turnover tax from small business accounts for only 2.7% of the state budget, and it could easily simply not be collected.

“By lowering or zeroing out the rate, we are solving not a fiscal problem, but above all a social problem in our country,” Farmanyan noted.
