Sergei Parajanov’s 100th anniversary exhibition opened in Warsaw

The Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw opened an exhibition to mark the 100th anniversary of the famous film director Sergei Parajanov.

The exhibition, opened with the support of the Armenian Ministry of Culture, presents the life of the genius director during difficult periods, imprisonment and persecution. The event is organized at the initiative of the Sergei Parajanov Museum in cooperation with the Armenian Embassy in Poland, the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Poland, the Zachęta National Gallery of Art and the Polish-Armenian Foundation.

The exhibition is on display until January 12, 2025.
