Armenian authorities denied violations, but they are included in PACE report: Levon Kocharyan

Most of the problems and violations that were raised were included in the PACE report, even though the authorities denied all of them by every means, Levon Kocharyan, MP from the “Armenia” faction, said at a press conference.

“I consider it especially important that the existence of selective political persecution was clearly stated, and it was noted that these cases must be reviewed by the authorities and all of this must be brought to an end. The issue related to ‘Prosperous Armenia’ was also clearly addressed. The report clearly states that the Central Electoral Commission’s explanations for not holding repeat elections at these polling stations are incomprehensible,” he said.

According to him, it was clearly stated that people took part in pro-government gatherings under pressure and coercion.
