It is impossible to consider yourself a happy person seeing the events in our country, doctor Marat Hayrapetyan told Alpha News.

“There is no trust in the authorities, no confidence in the correct redistribution and spending of money. If you cannot normally deal with the issues of the Diaspora, but at the same time, you want to adapt the Diaspora to yourself, if you communicate only with those organizations in the Diaspora that please and obey you, this probably means you have lost and will not be able to achieve your goals. Not everyone is capable of understanding what the Diaspora is,” Hayrapetyan said.

He noted that he cannot be happy when he sees the wounded homeland.

“I could have considered myself a happy, successful person, but there is one very important obstacle: the situation in our country, the Republic of Armenia. My smile is not the same, my laugh is not the same. The turmoil within my soul torments me every day, worries me, and does not let me consider myself a complete person.

When people ask me if I am happy, I say no, because it is impossible to be happy, seeing the wounded homeland and the terrible events in the country, which I try, but cannot stop or prevent,” Hayrapetyan concluded.
