Armenian Diaspora national team wins silver medals at Dream Nations Cup for second consecutive year

The Dream Nations Cup, featuring amateur national teams from across North America, concluded in the United States.
In the group stage of the main division, Armenians defeated Egypt (6-0), drew with the Indigenous team (6-6), and lost to Puerto Rico (2-4). In the semifinals, Armenians faced the Indigenous team again, triumphing 7-2. In the final match, they lost to the Central American team 6-1. The Armenian team is one step away from the gold medals for the second year in a row. Armenian hockey player Arvega Hovsepyan emerged as the tournament’s top scorer (5+7).
Last year, Armenia also claimed silver at the inaugural Dream Nations Cup, losing in overtime in the match against Algeria (6-7).
