Armenian students win 4 medals at Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad

Armenian students have secured 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 19th Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO), the Armenian Ministry of Education reports.

The silver medal was awarded to Tsovak Yegorian, a 12th-grade student at Shahinyan Specialized School of Physics and Mathematics. The bronze medals were secured by Alex Grigoryan, an 11th-grade student at Quantum College, along with Martin Khachatryan (12th grade) and Tigran Matsakyan (10th grade), both students of the Physics and Mathematics School.

More than 860 students from 36 countries participated in the Olympiad, with Armenia being represented by a team of 11 students.
