Construction workers in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will soon be trained according to unified qualification standards.
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved recommendations aimed at harmonizing requirements for the most in-demand construction professions. Similar recommendations are already in place for teachers, doctors, drivers, and utility workers.
The document outlines a minimum set of knowledge and skills required for specialists across various qualification levels, taking into account the specifics of the construction industry. These standards will serve as a foundation for national training programs and help ensure a consistent level of preparation across all member states.
According to Bakhyt Sultanov, EEC Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy, the implementation of unified requirements is a step toward building a common labor market and enhancing the quality of infrastructure projects.
