Locarno Film Festival to open with premiere of Tamara Stepanyan’s film

The 2025 Locarno International Film Festival, which will be held from August 6 to 16, will open with the premiere of the Armenian-French film “In the Land of Arto” directed by Tamara Stepanyan. It will be screened for 8,000 spectators at the Piazza Grande.

“Joy, pride, tears. This is big for Armenia, my homeland,” Stepanyan said.
