At the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Paris, two Armenian nominations were approved for inclusion in the Tentative List: Urartian Heritage of Yerevan and Garni Archaeological Complex and the Symphony of Stones.

These remarkable sites reflect Armenia’s rich historical and cultural legacy and strengthen its presence on the global stage.

Armenia’s officially inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Sites already feature Sanahin and Haghpat Monasteries, Etchmiadzin Cathedral and surrounding churches, Zvartnots Archaeological Site, and Geghard Monastery along with the upper Azat River Valley.
