Wrestler Malkhas Amoyan wins gold at international tournament in Poland

Malkhas Amoyan, bronze medalist at the Paris Olympic Games, world champion, and four-time European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, claimed the gold medal at the “Memoriał Władysława Pytlasińskiego” international tournament held in Warsaw, Poland, ArmSport reports.
Amoyan defeated Sweden’s Albin Olofsson 4-0 in the final bout.
Slavik Galstyan (72 kg) and Razmik Kurdyan (130 kg) also earned bronze medals. Wrestlers from 19 countries took part in the competition. Armenia placed fifth in the team standings, behind Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Sweden, and Kazakhstan.
