‘3+3’ format has proven effective in addressing South Caucasus issues – Iranian Foreign Ministry

The “3+3” regional cooperation format continues to demonstrate its relevance and effectiveness, stated Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei in an interview with IRNA. According to him, the platform contributes to resolving key issues, including Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

Baghaei emphasized that despite external efforts to address the problems of the South Caucasus, the countries of the region are now more interested than ever in preserving the “3+3” format. In his view, this is essential to prevent third-party interference and to strengthen regional sovereignty.
