Tense situation at Gyumri City Hall

A tense situation has unfolded at Gyumri City Hall. Masked officers from the National Security Service (NSS) entered the municipal building and are reportedly attempting to detain Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan.

According to several media outlets, Ghukasyan has been arrested. His aide reported that 60-70 individuals entered the city hall, forced the mayor to the ground, and arrested him.
