“What are the mutual benefits of TRIPP?”: Kristine Vardanyan to Mirzoyan

Are the mutual benefits of the TRIPP project described in any document as thoroughly as the unimpeded regime? During the discussion of the TRIPP project in the National Assembly, Kristine Vardanyan, MP from the Armenia faction, addressed Ararat Mirzoyan, foreign minister of Armenia, urging him to give the most specific answers possible to the questions she raised.

The MP asked where the content of the mutual benefits envisaged for Armenia and the other parties is described in detail.

“Doesn’t TRIPP, in essence, cover only about 42 kilometers of road passing through Armenia? Does it include roads passing through Yerask, or not? If so, will the same regime apply to roads passing through Yerask on the same terms as those described under TRIPP, including in terms of the front office and back office?” Vardanyan asked.

The MP also raised the question of the location of the infrastructure planned under the project, as well as the size of the territory it will occupy.
