‘I will fight and I will not break’ – arrested lawyer Ruben Mkhitaryan

Political prisoner and member of the “Our Way” movement, Ruben Mkhitaryan—who was unlawfully detained and later arrested without any grounds while carrying out his professional human rights work—shared a letter on his Facebook page from the “Artik” penitentiary.

“The first 10 days in the ‘Artik’ penitentiary.

In confinement, I feel freer—freer than ever before. Justice and the rule of law will prevail in Armenia.

I will fight. I will not break,” the lawyer wrote in his letter.
