TRIPP will become our greatest security threat – Robert Kocharyan

TRIPP is an Armenian‑American project designed for Azerbaijan and Turkey, in which Armenian interests are not visible at all, Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan, said during a press conference.

“TRIPP is going to become our greatest security threat. Armenian interests are nowhere to be seen here. Geopolitical and economic factors have been almost nullified. This is an Armenian‑American project for Azerbaijan and Turkey. The United States will try to push this program forward, while Armenia will end up at the intersection of conflicting interests. We were struck once before. Why are we doing this again? I do not understand,” Kocharyan said.
