Yvette M. Amirian receives ACE Eddie Award 2026

Film editor Yvette M. Amirian has been honored with the 2026 ACE Eddie Award in the Best Edited Feature Film (Non-Theatrical) category for her work on A Winter’s Song. She is the first person of Armenian descent to be honored with this award since its establishment.

A Winter’s Song is an Armenian-American romantic drama directed by Angela Asatrian. The story follows Liana, who travels from the United States to Yerevan, finds inspiration, falls in love, and decides to remain in her homeland. The film showcases the festive atmosphere of New Year’s Yerevan and highlights iconic locations such as Etchmiadzin, Geghard, and the Cascade.

Yvette M. Amirian is an American editor, producer, and educator of Armenian heritage. With over 20 years of experience in film and television, she became the first Armenian woman accepted into the prestigious American Cinema Editors (ACE) society.
