Military situation in Iran is dangerous for Armenia as well – Ishkhan Saghatelyan

Our neighboring and friendly country Iran is in a military situation, which is also dangerous for Armenia—in terms of security, economy, and other aspects, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, member of the ARF Bureau and MP from the “Armenia” faction, said in an interview with Yerkir Media.

“Today we are at the Embassy of Iran, where we expressed our condolences and voiced hope that the situation will stabilize as soon as possible. Iran is a country interested in preserving Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and it has repeatedly reaffirmed this position—even during these difficult days, regarding the so‑called ‘Zangezur corridor.’ From this perspective, the security and stability of our neighboring country is also very important for us,” Saghatelyan said.
