During a survey conducted in Tavush, residents expressed dissatisfaction with the authorities’ actions. They view the pension increase as a bribe for votes and emphasize that the country is on the verge of collapse. Survey participants stated that they do not believe the authorities’ promises.

“The changes expected from April 1st are a pre-election trick. The people are being fed ‘bait’ so they will vote for Nikol,” said one resident.

It was also noted that no new buildings have been constructed in Tavush for 35 years, and that due to the lack of jobs, young people are leaving the region in search of work elsewhere in the country or abroad.
