Pro-Turkish conservative Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán lost the election after 16 years in power, “Strong Armenia” party member Gohar Meloyan wrote on social media.

“Voter turnout in Hungary broke a historic record, reaching nearly 80%, with enormous queues forming at polling stations.

I am experiencing mixed emotions.

This is a message to our society that each of our voices can be decisive, and the change we seek is only possible with a united will,” she wrote.
