Armenia national team forward Grant-Leon Ranos will most likely not be sent out on loan again this summer, writes sportaran. com.

The 22-year-old footballer’s contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach runs until summer 2027. This is precisely why the German club intends to consider a full sale of the player rather than another loan.

According to Transfermarkt, Ranos’s transfer value has already dropped to 600 thousand euros. In reality, however, Gladbach may be prepared to let the Armenian forward go for an even lower sum. For a new loan, the club would have to extend the player’s contract, but Borussia is not willing to take that step. If Ranos does not agree to a transfer, or if no buyer is found for him, he risks spending the season with the youth team.

In the second half of last season, Ranos played on loan for 2.Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig. That spell proved unsuccessful for him: the Armenian forward played 11 matches but did not register a single goal or assist. In the first half of the season, however, Ranos played in the Bundesliga for Borussia Mönchengladbach and managed to score his debut goal in the German championship.
