“As soon as Tsarukyan became an opposition figure, he was immediately made a criminal”: “Multi Tabak” employee

The “Multi Tabak” factory, owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader, employs 130-150 people. However, the enterprise has now been sealed off, leaving all employees without work. This was stated to journalists by one of the company’s employees taking part in the protest.

“Today, a person is being arrested like the worst kind of criminal because of politics. Above all, they themselves should be ashamed of all this. As soon as Mr. Tsarukyan became an opposition figure, he was immediately made a criminal. If he was a criminal, why wasn’t he arrested for the previous 8 years?” he said.
