Preparing for competitions, students of the closed Olympavan are forced to train in the courtyard

Despite support from partners and parents who are trying to find temporary solutions, holding full-fledged training sessions for the athletes has become impossible. This was said to journalists by one of the participants in the protest at the Olympavan sports complex.

According to him, the athletes are currently preparing for tournaments but lack proper training conditions.

“We can’t stop training. There are partners who invite us to their gyms, but they’re far away geographically. Right now we’re also temporarily training in another gym, and the parents are helping too. But the situation today is that the children need serious training: right now we’re preparing for a tournament that will take place on July 26,” he said.
