Large-scale TV series “Odyssey” to be filmed in Armenia and Greece

The large-scale international project “Odyssey,” based on Homer’s epic of the same name, is being produced by the Greek company Tanweer Productions, the American company Tectonic, and the Armenian company USATV, which operates in the US, according to Deadline.

Roel Reine (director of “Halo” and “Black Sails”) will direct the series, Karl Gajdusek (“Stranger Things”) will produce, and among the executive producers is Vahagn Sargsyan, representing USATV.

Filming of the series is planned to begin in early 2027 and will take place, among other locations, in Armenia and Greece.
