“The bigger Haypost’s losses got, the higher your wife’s salary became”: Anna Grigoryan to Konjoryan

Anna Grigoryan, head of the “Armenia” faction, responded to discussions about her family raised by ruling-party MPs in the National Assembly, suggesting they specify what actions by her family members were illegal or constituted a conflict of interest.

Speaking about the appointment of the wife of “Civil Contract” MP Hayk Konjoryan as head of Haypost CJSC and the salary she receives, Grigoryan emphasized that this amounts to political favoritism.

“At a time when thousands of employees at that very same state agency earn salaries of 80,000–100,000 drams, your wife earns around $10,000. That can’t help but raise questions. In 2023, Haypost posted a profit of 100 million drams, and by 2025 it had losses of 523 million drams. The bigger Haypost’s losses got, the higher the payroll fund and your wife’s salary became,” the opposition MP said.
