Shout “dmb-dmb-hoo” when the Catholicos’s name is mentioned, that’s your level: tense situation in parliament

Tensions flared in parliament during a speech by Kristine Vardanyan, MP from the Armenia faction, when the topic turned to Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.

MPs from Civil Contract began banging on their desks at the mention of the word “Catholicos,” while opposition MPs responded with applause.

“Maybe you should shout ‘dmb-dmb-hoo’ whenever the Catholicos’s name comes up, that’s about your level,” Kristine Vardanyan suggested.
