Nikol Pashinyan, RA Prime Minister, said at the SCO summit in Bishkek that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin today to discuss further relations between the two countries.
He also spoke about what Armenia’s contribution could be to ensure sustainable peace.
“We are practically providing an answer to this question regarding a balanced world, as well as maintaining balance. The lack of balance could undermine the independence of our countries. We have concluded that it is impossible to be sovereign and independent while living in a conflict situation… We are now working closely with Turkey and Azerbaijan to establish communication and implement trade projects that will be carried out in the coming months,” he said.
It should be recalled that today a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is taking place in Bishkek. Leaders of the SCO member states, including Vladimir Putin, Narendra Modi, and Xi Jinping, are taking part in it. The heads of state are discussing issues of security, economy, trade, and further cooperation.
