Today is September 2, Independence Day of the Republic of Artsakh.

35 years ago, on September 2, 1991, at a joint session, the District Council of People’s Deputies of Artsakh and deputies of the Shaumyan District Council proclaimed the creation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
